Zoning Infill Regulations - Upcoming Bylaw Amendments
Amendments will be considered at Public Hearing on August 26 at 6:00 pm.
Primary Dwellings in Established Neighbourhoods
Front Door Sill Height is proposed to increase the current 1.0 metre front door sill height requirement to 1.3 metres.
Sidewall Area is proposed amended to increase the allowable sidewall area by 10% and clarify how sidewall area is calculated, exempt portions of sidewall that are set back more than 4.5 metres from the side property line and on corner sites exempt the façade facing the flanking street from the sidewall area calculation.
Garden & Garage Suites
Proposed amendments to section 5.3.14 including changes to the garage suite regulations governing the gross floor area of the second storey

Zoning Infill Regulations
The City of Saskatoon is proposing changes its infill housing policies. This is part of the City’s Housing Action Plan and coincides with recent Zoning Bylaw changes that allow up to four dwelling units on a site citywide.
