Rezoning - Taube Green

What is being proposed?

The Planning and Development Department has received an application from Dream Asset Management Corporation (the applicant) proposing to rezone land within the Brighton neighbourhood to accommodate the next phase of residential development.

The subject land is located in the southern part of Brighton. The land is currently undeveloped and zoned FUD – Future Urban Development District.

The applicant is proposing to rezone the land to R1A – Low Density Residential District 1A as shown on the map below. The proposed rezoning would facilitate residential development in the form of one- to four-unit dwellings as well as related community uses. The proposed rezoning is in alignment with the Brighton Neighbourhood Concept Plan.
