Residential Parking Program Review
The Residential Parking Program uses on-street parking time limits to manage visitor parking congestion from nearby major attractions. The program prioritizes resident access to on-street parking in areas with high demand for parking.
Administration is seeking feedback to help answer the following questions:
- Is the Residential Parking Program effective in its current form?
- Are there opportunities to improve the way the Program operates?
- Does the Program still align with broader community values?

Review Community Feedback and Finalize Report for Council
Thank you for your interest in the Residential Parking Program review process. We appreciate the time and perspectives contributed by community members and partner organizations.
The City is continuing to review the feedback received and is exploring potential solutions to some of the challenges and concerns raised during engagement. This work includes ongoing discussions and collaboration with our municipal partners to better understand opportunities and approaches that may help address these issues.
We anticipate presenting program recommendations to the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation and City Council in November.
