Zoning Bylaw: Housekeeping and Minor Amendments

The City is proposing a package of housekeeping and minor amendments to the Zoning Bylaw No. 9990 (Zoning Bylaw).

Many of the proposed changes correct errors, update references, restore missing wording, or improve consistency across the bylaw.

The minor amendments are intended to improve clarity, consistency, interpretation and enforceability of the Zoning Bylaw. These amendments have been identified through day-to-day administration of the bylaw, including Development Permit review, zoning inquiries, internal interpretations and the Development Appeals process.
