Bus Network Redesign

We are re-designing the bus route network to reflect the needs of our growing city, support long-term growth, and enable public transit to become a preferred travel option for more residents. The bus network will be re-designed to align with Link, Saskatoon's Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system and is planned to launch along with the Link system in spring of 2028.

Bus Network Redesign

We want to learn about what you think about two bus network ideas: coverage and ridership. Staff have created new route ideas based on these two choices. You can learn more and share your thoughts at one of nine open houses in Saskatoon. You can look at the new routes, get your questions answered by City staff, and give feedback.

You can also take the Phase 2 survey. The survey opens October 14, 2026.

New Bus Sign Design

The new bus routes will need new bus signs. This is a chance to make bus signs easier to read and use.

We want to know if you think the new sign design is clear and helpful. Please take the survey to share your thoughts. The survey opens October 14, 2026.

Changes at Confederation

Saskatoon Transit plans to change the Link Red route so it goes to Confederation Hub. For more information, come to an open house to learn more about the proposed change or fill out a survey, starting October 14, 2026.
