Link - 1st Avenue Design
Link is key to meeting the challenges of Saskatoon’s future, by providing an important, more efficient bus service along a fixed route. Local, neighborhood bus routes will feed into the three main Link lines to create a new city-wide transit system.
1st Avenue is a key part of the Link system routing. We anticipate a high number of riders in this central area where all three Link lines will travel. The new 1st Avenue designs are an exciting move forward for the system and we are excited to share them with Saskatoon.

Phases
Report to Council
Administration will be reporting back to Council based on the requests made at the April 29 City Council meeting, and April 7 Standing Policy Committee (SPC) on Transportation meeting on April 7.
The anticipated date for this report is at the September 1, 2026, SPC-Transportation meeting. The agenda will be confirmed at 4pm on Wednesday August 26. You can find the agenda for the meeting here.
