17th Street & Spadina Crescent West - Traffic Calming
The City of Saskatoon is reviewing traffic calming measures along 17th Street between Avenue H and Spadina Crescent and along Spadina Crescent between 17th Street and Avenue D. Both streets will be addressed together because they have similar concerns related to speeding, shortcutting and pedestrian safety.
The City of Saskatoon developed a draft Traffic Plan that proposes additional traffic calming measures along 17th Street and Spadina Crescent.

Next steps
The City of Saskatoon (City) will be installing an all-way stop and additional crosswalk, due to feedback provided at the Open House. Signs and pavement markings were to be installed in fall 2025. The City will monitor operations at the intersection after the installation is complete and adjust as needed. The pedestrian ramps and pathway connections will be added to the city-wide list and installed when funding becomes available.
